We see the Three Great Powers combined, manifested there works(good and very good) expressed themselves. We see a lesson and demonstration of The eternal gospel. Their (everything including Adam and Eve) Light was as a result of the very Life and Light of Christ shining through them. Hence Christ The fullness of the Godhead, The Perfection, The Beginning and End, The Author and Finisher, given to them in the Beginning. The WORKS OF GOD IS CHRIST. Given to all creation. Hence when they are brought forth He gave them Rest, an eternal emblem of His Love for all, an emblem of His Completed work for them, an emblem of His Life and Death for them. They read this in nature and themselves.. "The love of Christ, manifested in word and act". The Principles of the Cross of Christ, which is the Foundation of the government of God was seen all around them, including their own life. Hence man the crowning WORK of creation. Adam and Eve was the perfect mold of what was to come had they not fell for the deception that they live without God.

Satan fully understood this. Hence his determination to misconstrue and give false doctrine.
