God created the human body on the sixth day of Creation Week. the body is fearfully and wonderfully made according to Psalm 139:14. because we are wonderfully and fearfully made we are under responsibility to keep this temple extremely healthy. The body is so wonderful and so fearfully created that it is our duty to God, our fellow man, and to ourselves, to keep it 100% healthy so we can give our best service to God and cooperate with him in a plan of redemption.
the books of Daniel and Revelation are two in Time Books specifically designed for the final generation. And in the Book of Daniel the first chapter God shows us the necessity of Health reform for those living in the last days.
"And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank... Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah...But Daniel purposed and his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself... Proved thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink." (Daniel 1:5,8,12)
In the first chapter of Daniel he was tested on nutrition and appetite. King Nebuchadnezzar wanted to change his diet to something that was against the laws given through Moses on nutrition. and Daniel resisted eating the king's meat and drinking his wine cuz he knew that that was violation of the laws of nutrition sent through Moses so we asked for water to drink and pulse to eat.
In Hebrew pulse is vegetable food or a vegetarian diet. Daniel resisted eating meat and drinking wine, but he asked for water and a vegetarian diet. He wanted vegetables to eat instead of flesh food. After the 10 days of eating a vegetarian diet and drinking his water, the Bible says that Daniel and his friends looked it way more healthy and good looking than everybody else that ate the king's flesh food.
"And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat."
(Daniel 1:15)
This was not written for no reason. God was trying to teach us the importance of the eighth law of Health reform nutrition. As well as temperance. This book was for the people in the final generation. Those who live in a final generation cool make it through this thing without seeing death will respect the law of nutrition, which is the eighth law of haealth reform.
Our physical health is maintained or destroyed by the food which we eat. Anything that you put into this body/temple affects every cell, tissue, organ, and systems of the body. It affects it in a way that work promote health or destroy health.
The men of God in the Bible always walked in perfect and strict obedience by faith in the Ten Commandments and the laws of health reform. the reason why the law of nutrition is so seriously important because the body is the only medium through which the mind and the soul is developed for the up building of a perfect character.
At the beginning God gave man fruits, grains, and nuts, as his food. And after sin God added the vegetables because man no longer had access to tree of life. The tree of life perpetuates immortality and when man lost access to it, God added vegetables to his diet because he became mortal. Therefore, because we are mortal we must have vegetables and nutrition in this body or we can die. And the best way to get your vegetables is to eat a nice salad!
"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." (Genesis 1:29)
Right here is the diet chosen for us by the Creator. When God said he has given man every herb bearing seed this mean he has given man every plant that produces seeds.
"Sometimes we eat only the seeds of a plant. Some of these foods include corn, peas, and beans. But they also include nuts like pecans, walnuts and almonds. Other seeds we eat are rice, wheat and oats."
(Counties.agrilife.org)
Do you see the diet God gave us in Genesis 1:29? The plants that we eat produces corn, peas, beans, nuts, etc. according to the above statement and the Bible.
The fruit of a tree yielding seed, means a tree that produces seed or fruit. Just like we don't eat the whole tree that produces apples, before man sinned we didn't eat that herb (plants) that produced seeds. But after sin entered the world, God now had to command man to eat the plants.
"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field."
(Genesis 3:17-18)
Now God commanded man to eat the plants or vegetables. Before sin He commanded them to eat that which came from the plants, now he must eat the plants/vegetables itself.
Below is a guideline of what we should be aiming for to get our nutrition.
1. 3 servings of fruit every day.
2. 2 tablespoons of seeds everyday. Get a quarter cup of your chia seeds, a quarter cup of pumpkin seeds, a quarter cup of sunflower seeds, a quarter cup of sesame seeds, and mix them all together. Then everyday take 2 tablespoons.
You can eat them in your hand, you can eat them in your cereal, or you can grind them up.
3. Study the seeds individually to see what they are high in. See what minerals are they high in that our body needs.
4. We are to eat a handful/quarter cup of nuts everyday. Take your measuring cup to WinCo, go to the nut section, and take a quarter cup of almonds, cashew, pistachios, walnuts, pecans, hazel nuts, and brazil nuts. Then mix them all together and take them everyday.
5. Fruits, grains, nuts, and vegetables, which includes your seeds and your beans, contains all the food nutrients and elements that we need to create good blood.
6. A simple way to get a lot of veggies is simply to eat a whole lot of salad. Green onions, purple cabbage, shredded carrots, romaine lettuce, spinach.
7. heaviest meals too be eaten at breakfast.
Breakfast
1. Steamed asparagus and broccoli. Asparagus and broccoli are known to kill cancer.
Cooked breakfast - quinoa with collard greens
2. We are to have 4 items max on our plate. Each portion will be 25%.
3. Common breakfast MM style.
We need a minimum of 6 servings of grain a day. You can get two servings of grain from your oatmeal's, and two servings of grain from your bread. This is 4 servings of grain for your breakfast. And then if you eat two servings of rice then you have your equivalent of 6 servings for the day.
One cup of oatmeal and two slices of toast. This is four servings of grain for your breakfast. So all you need is to eat a cup of rice and you got your full 6 servings of grain for the day. Half a cup is a serving.
You need three fruits. If a banana can fit in your whole hand you are to split that in half and that is 2 servings. A small orange is one serving. A large orange could be two servings. A kiwi is one serving. 3 strawberries is about a serving. A handful of grapes is a serving. Switch up your food so you do not get bored.
Grains - You can eat oatmeal, granola, oat waffles, french toast, etc.
Dinner
Vegetables. Tomatoes mixed with greens causes fermentation in the stomach. Fruits and veggies are not to be mixed.
Jobs said that we were made from clay. The very minerals in the foods of the earth that we are required to eat are the very minerals in the clay that the Lord made us from.
God allowed the herb of the field in the diet to replace the minerals that we lose on a daily basis. Therefore we need to eat fruit, grains, nuts, seeds, and veggies every day. Your fruits and vegetables 2 days ago is not sufficient.
Drinking too much juice puts a burden on the kidneys
