Justification Means To Receive Righteousness and Salvation
Justification includes salvation and righteousness. When God justifies somebody He's giving that person righteousness and salvation. The 1888 message is righteousness by faith, and righteousness by faith includes both justification and sanctification.
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
(Romans 4:5)
This Scripture right here shows you exactly how a sinner can receive righteousness and salvation. The Bible teaches that God Himself justifies those who are ungodly. Therefore, if you're ungodly you are in deep need of justification. And justification includes righteousness and salvation. You are in deep need of righteousness and salvation.
The first thing to comply with to receive justification is to admit that you are ungodly which means to confess all your sins to God. Once all your sins are confessed then you are to believe that God has forgiven you for all your sins. Justification and forgiveness of sins are one and the same thing.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
When God forgives you for your sins He justifies you by giving you righteousness and salvation. The first thing to do is to confess your sins to God and the second thing is to believe that God has forgiven you for your sins and you are RIGHTEOUS with the VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! And this righteousness is your ticket to eternal life.
Remember that the 1888 message is one message but it comes in two parts. The first part of the 1888 message is justification by faith and the second part is sanctification by faith. Justification and sanctification which is also imputed and imparted righteousness sums up the whole 1888 message of righteousness by faith.
Justification, which is righteousness and salvation, is available for the chief of sinners! Justification is only by faith. And the fact that justification is only by faith this makes it available for the chief of sinners. This makes it available for the most ungodly person on the planet.
Once the most ungodly person on the planet ask God to forgive them for their sins and believes that He has forgiven them, God immediately justifies that person, which means that God immediately gives that person righteousness and salvation, no matter how ungodly the sinners past life was!
Justification, (righteousness and salvation) was made available by Christ life of 33 1/2 years of impeccable righteousness and His great sacrifice that He made on Calvary to pay for the sins of the whole human race. By His victorious life of 33 and a half years with no sin and His sacrificial death on Calvary, this made it possible for sinners to be justified. This made it possible for sinners to receive righteousness and salvation by the faith of Jesus Christ.
Have you been justified yet? Have your sins been forgiven yet? Have you received righteousness and salvation yet?
