“Not one of us will ever receive the Seal of God while our character have one spot or stain upon them. It is left with us to remedy the defects in our characters, to cleanse the soul temple of every defilement. then the latter rain will fall upon us as the early rain fell upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost.” (Testimonies Volume 5 page 214)
This is how to get the latter rain poured out upon us in this generation.
1. Remove every spot from our characters.
2. Remove every stain from our characters.
3. We must remedy the defects in our
characters. A remedy is a medicine or treatment for a disease or injury.
Every medical missionary understand what a remedy is and how to apply it. You are to apply your medical missionary understanding to get every defect out of your character.
If I have a disease all I need to do is find out how I attracted this disease, correct my wrong habits, change my unhealthful conditions, and then apply a natural remedy (herbs) to assist nature in her efforts to expel impurities and re-establish right condition in the system.
This is the basis of how to do effective medical ministry and heal any disease.
“In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected. Then nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish right conditions in the system.” (Ministry of Healing page 127)
To apply this spiritually so you can gain victory over the defects in your character, you must first ascertain the cause. How did this or these specific defects get into my character?
-Selfishness
-Pride
-Evil temper
-impatience
-Hate
-lust
-indulgence of appetite
How did these things get into our characters? Remember we are applying the medical missionary work to our spiritual condition so we can be healed, receive the latter rain, and be sealed with the 144.000.
One we figured out how these defects got into our characters, we now need to change spiritual unhealthful conditions. Am I looking a selfishness, pride, evil, hate, lust etc. on T.V. or the internet? I must immediately stop this because it’s unhealthful to my spiritual condition. I must confess my sins of watching sin on T.V. and the internet.
“I will set NO wicked thing before mine eyes.” (Psalm 101:3)
Then we need to replace our old habits with correct ones. Instead of looking at wicked things on television, let me put a Godly movie on. Let me watch on the internet movies like:
-Joseph
-The Prince of Egypt
-The Bible movie
-Sermons
-Health messages
Just build up an inventory of holy things to watch and ask Christ to help you and he will.
Then you are to allow Christ to apply His precious blood to you. This blood will wash away ALL sins and cancel ALL guilt.
“AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN.” (1 John 1:7)
Once the blood is applied to you and all guilt and sin is removed from you by precious blood, then Christ puts His own spotless righteousness upon you. This is wholly done by FAITH ALONE! This is righteousness by faith! THIS IS THE MOST PRECIOUS MESSAGE!
The righteousness of Christ imputed to the believer is the remedy to remove every defect and every stain and every spot in our characters! How is this? Because there is NO defect, NO stain, NO sin, and NO spot in His righteousness that is NOW upon you!
“To him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justify the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Romans 4:5)
“This is the only way (Romans 4:5) that anybody in this world could ever become righteous: first admit that he is ungodly; (Confess your sins to God) then believe that God justifies, counts righteous, the ungodly, and he is righteous with a very righteousness of God.”

When this work of imputed righteousness is accomplished for the church every defect, every stain, every sin, and every spot will be removed from the church as a body, and then the latter rain will fall upon us as the early rain fell upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost!
