Satan Tried to Stop Me By Bringing Up Sins of the Past

For the last few days or so God has been feeding me with extremely deep information and using me in a deep way to witness for the truth to those around me.

I've been collecting email addresses and linking people to videos I've done about the three angels messages. It has been a blessing to see how they're responding to the message for this time!

Satan saw what the Lord was doing and tried to attack me by bringing up some sins from the past! And the crazy part about it was that he used family to do this satanic work! Sometimes the closest people to you can cause the most pain.

This happened yesterday and also I went through back to back to back to back temptations that same day too!

With temptation coming at me like that, Spirit of Prophecy combat wisdom number one popped in my mind - RECOGNIZE WHEN HIS BATTLE SEASON!

This is Spirit of Prophecy combat wisdom number one. You must have combat wisdom and understand how to fight in this war so you can make it to eternity safely.

Yesterday of my family members called me out of the blue, and we were talking for some time when I recognized that he was under the influence of alcohol.

I continued to talk to him and was trying to encourage him in Christ about letting the past go and moving forward. The Bible text that I gave him was Philippians 3:13.

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before..."(Philippians 3:13)

My family member was telling me about sins that he committed in the past which was bothering him. But I told him to just forget those things which are behind and reach for those things which are before.

I quoted the text to him and was trying to encourage him to let the past go and reach forward, looking to the future life of all eternity. Then he told me, "Yes this life is just brief and it really don't mean nothing."

He was talking about how short this life is and in the light of eternity it really don't mean nothing. In other words, there is no point in being hunted and living in the past when this life is so short.

As we continued to talk, all of a sudden he told me that some other family member told him about some sins that I committed in the past.

It was painful to hear that family was enjoying spreading my forgiven sins, but I recognized that he was under the influence of alcohol and demon spirits were using his mind to try to stop and discourage me from my work.

Sins that have been forgiven, and washed away by precious blood, demons will try to use against you especially when you get into the work of God. Fallen Angels would try to discourage and take you down because of sins in the past that has already been forgiven.

It's a deception and you should resist these deceptions by using battle skills! These skills is what I had to use when I recognized that Satan was trying to take me down and discourage me from the work. I recognize that I needed use my four basic battle skills to overcome him.

Battle skill number one is the justification technique - Use one of the spiritual exercise programs to make sure you are justified or made righteous by faith.

Battle skill number two is the sanctification technique - Use one of the spiritual exercise programs to allow Christ to continue to sanctify you for that day. Sanctification by faith perpetuates victory over sin.

Battle skill number 3 is SELECT AMMO. This means to select a Scripture which meets the temptation to use against Satan.

Battle skill number four is exercise faith until assistance is given. You are to exercise faith in that Scripture until the temptation is destroyed.

This is how to fight in this spiritual war. This is also how to overcome the temptation of being hunted by the past.

Any time Satan tempts you with your past, you are to use Philippians 3:13 and plug it into one of the Spirit of Prophecy exercise programs.

You can use the 10-10-2 or 50-20-10. Constantly using these programs especially when Satan tempts you with your past, is the key to VICTORY OVER THE PAST, and the destruction of that temptation!
