The Three Angel’s Message

The terminology “The Third Angel’s Message” points to the message of angel number three in the three angel’s messages of Revelation 14:6–12. Each angel of the three proclaims a special message to the inhabitant of plant Earth.

The message of the first and second angel unites and reaches their peak with the third angel’s message. The third angel includes the messages of the first and second angel’s. The third angel’s message as it embraces the messages of the first and second, gets the earth ripe for the second coming of Christ. Revelation 14:12–16, Matthew 13:39

We see after the third angel’s message is given to the world, the earth is ripe for the harvest. In Matt 13:39 Jesus told us that the harvest is the end of the world. Therefore the three angel’s message get the world prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Here is the message of the third angel, “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:6–12

Here is found the third angel’s message. Does this message stand alone or apart from the other two angel’s messages? No it does not! The very first words of the third angel’s message is, “And the third angel FOLLOWED THEM.” The word “FOLLOWED” In the Greek means to ‘’Join him as his attendant.” Therefore the third angel joins, connects, and unites his message with the other two angel’s.

This shows us that there are three angel’s, but their message unites into ONE message. When the first angel gives his message, then follows or rises after him the second angel and he unites his message with the first that is already giving his message. Here is the first message, “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Revelation 14:6,7

Then as the first angel is giving his message the time came for the second angel to join him with his message, “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. “ Revelation 14:8

And again, as the first two angel’s united together in giving the world their messages, then came time for the third angel to unite and join with them to give his message to the world. “And the third angel followed them…” Revelation 14:9

Now that all three angel’s have risen and are sounding their messages to the world, all three of them UNITE THEIR MESSAGES AS ONE MESSAGE. There are three messages, but they unite as ONE, forming a powerful thee-fold, loud voiced, gospel message! The third angel needs the other two angel’s to make his message complete and powerful, therefore the third angel’s message cannot be truly given without the messages of the first and second angel’s.

When you read the three angel’s message in Revelation 14:6–12, you will notice that each message follows one another AS A CONSEQUENCE of something. A consequence of what? The first and second angel’s messages were given to the world in full power from the years 1840–1844. Fifty thousand believers from a variety of church denominations united in preaching the first angel’s message all over the world.

Some of the leading ministers of the Churches did not want to hear the first angel’s message which also points to the near second coming of Christ. The Churches actually rejected the doctrine of the near second coming of Christ and the first angel’s message.

It was so serious that some of the ministers dis-fellowshiped those who were preaching and believing in the second coming and first angel’s message. Thus they rejected the first angel’s message and as a consequence the second angel came and said “Babylon (the churches) is fallen is fallen…” Revelation 14:8. God used the first angel to gather out of the churches fifty thousand believers.

Because they were dis-fellowshiped from their churches for believing in the second coming and preaching the first angel’s message, they united in the proclamation of the second message and applied the fall of Babylon to the churches who rejected the first angel’s message and the doctrine of the soon second coming of Christ.

From the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8:14 they thought that Christ would come on October 22, 1844. When He didn’t come, the believers went from fifty thousand to only fifty! Forty nine thousand, nine hundred and fifty people gave up their faith in the first and second angel’s message!

Then God gave these fifty believers the third angel’s message to give to the world. Since the churches rejected the first and second angel’s message, they could not be benefited by the third. Therefore, the first, second, and third angel’s message produced from these fifty faithful believers, a brand new denomination. This was God’s end-time church called the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This new end-time Church was comprised of fifty believers from a variety of different denominations and it grew. Today the Seventh-day Adventist Church has about 25 million members!

This was the early work of the three angel’s message. Their early work was to draw out of nearly all denominations a faithful few and then create God’s end-time Church. And they did their work perfectly! But the work of the three angel’s are not finished. The third angel has a very specific work to accomplish. He is to seal 144,000 people out of God’s end-time Church with Christ’s righteousness. This is the final work of the three angel’s message.

Once this work is accomplished, probation closes, the mark of the beast is enforced, the Christian era ends, and Jesus returns! Have you studied and accepted the three angel’s message?
